I suppose I think that all humans have these three 'skills' as part of being a linguistically capable mammal. With some they are repressed but, with leadership and scene setting (eg warm up exercises, getting to know each other etc) then play guided by rites will actually enable such innate skill to flower. And the surprise of the Athens workshops was that it seems to be true across cultural differences and within a short time frame.

This subpage works well, but it is set up as a list of separate Rites.
If you click on the rite, you go to it's page
for example: http://musicgames.wikidot.com/sub:scratch-030
and there you may correct the error (and I already corrected a typo at #30).

The subpage for specific rite also serves to display the rite alongside Notes to it.

I added explanation under the edit button here, thanks for pointing to that.

Yes, that's a bit of a problem, apart from adding attribution right away, I wonder how to organize it in general.
There were three rites that were selected some time ago as the most fitting to the whole "music gaming" approach.
They were inserted to the library with strict rules on formatting (all rules have same headers).
After the Nature Study Notes digitalization, there is a double.

We "desparately" need an article on Scratch Orchestra/Cornelius Cardew in the context of music games. ;)

Also with "modern" standards of our library this game would not be considered 'well-defined'. Moving games between categories might cause some trouble for users though :L.

As getting design feedback is an important part of this website, I'll throw that in of my first impressions from playing:
1) Consider adding keyboard input. Maybe sth like an octave of:

 w e - t y u A S D F G H J

2) Take responsibility for your scoring system ;)

If you want to reach a good score …

Do you reeaally want to force people who are bored with lower levels to sit through them to get high score?
Adjust the scoring for maximum fun and minimum "additional necessary hints" as the one above ;).

3*) As there is so much freedom for the player, this game is the closest to the main focus of our wiki. So I'll add that too: maybe it would be fun to make it a bit more creatively involving? You deal with sounds sequence, if players were adding notes to the sequence one by one the game would be… semi-compositional ;)

Afraid though that the jigsaw puzzle here is actually outside of scope of the library as it can't be used to perform music.

16 more cards could form the next deck for more diversity.

Most of the pictures should be well connected to some sound characteristics, also these kind of sounds should not be similar.
A few can be more suggestive of moods without clear sounds tied to them. Here are some of my ideas:
breaking cup, church-like building, fireworks, forest, snakes, water tap, whales

do you have anything more that is easy to draw and might sound unique?

This text reveals to me even more tensions in music games than I considered before. I thought rules to be just about clarity, dry and technical. If they are to be prose, that's harder to combine than musical expression with algorithms.
Obviously it's not disencouraging, but a nice challenge. ;)

Could you also say which are the most confusing? I explain a few in the rules but generally aim was that they should ring some bells graphically (and be quite coherently interpreted by sight).

I don't have them this way, but it's how it should be done. Most of the images were from cue deck, I copied them here and also to new card game (of deck-building), and I have drawings only inside projects. But the library of images for easy re-use would generally be great… if only someone made nice pictures. I'll try to extract those that are fine, but this boot for example should be changed asap.
