Basic Conducting Gestures, a set of gestures that are often used in music games.

Usage

This is a shorthand that is worth using here, but doesn't have a currency outside of the wiki. Basic Conducting Gestures are intuitive method of controlling/suggesting a musical change and usually they are understood without any explanation. Conducting is a popular activity in music games, a person who does it is called a conductor even if it's not the same conducting as in classical music. If you want, you can also read a more detailed article on conducting.

If you see a music game that requires Basic Conducting Gestures (BCG) it is referring to these:

All simple enough that you most likely don’t even need to practice the gestures with the players, but powerful enough that you will be able to create improvised music as deep as everyone’s imaginations allow them to get, in any style of music.
