Participant that gives signals to change music without deciding about the direction of that change.
Prompter might be considered a type of Conductor although influences only the timing of music. The course of action is chosen by other participants or is otherwise established by rules (for example chosen at random). Signals might be give in different ways for example by Cue cards.
Prompter role is often used in Games of John Zorn for example is his Cobra.
