Slapdash!

This item is not in the library — it is a part of: T. Wishart, Sounds Fun.

A spatial framework for clapping games with fixed patterns.

This activity is for even number of participants. At least 12 people are needed, or so it seems, although the placing is more handy with even more players than that. Every player will interact with two others without moving around.

For a Slapdash you form two circles, outer and inner, both with the same number of players, and with players in the inner circle facing outward. All participants will be evenly spaced, and players from inner and outer circle are not facing one another, but place themselves in-between. This way each player can clap jointly with two players from the other circle. In one pair both players will use their right hands, and in the another — left.
