Richard Reason (b. 1948*) — composer and pianist, student of Cornelius Cardew, together with Christopher Hobbs, Hugh Shrapnel, and others. Interestingly, due to extending his studies, in (about) 1970 Richard Reason went on to be the sole student of Cornelius Cardew in the Royal Academy of Music in London. ➡️

Jeffrey Agrell (b. February 25, 1948) is the author of a big book: Improvisation Games for Classical Musicians, which stemmed from his experience as an educator (professional bio at the University of Iowa), a jazz guitarist, and a classical hornist (improvising e.g. with Evan Mazunik). ➡️

Stefan Szczelkun (b. 1948) is a member of Scratch Orchestra, runs an interesting blog and wrote books including one that is reviewed here: Improvisation Rites: from John Cage's Song Books to The Scratch Orchestra's Nature Study Notes ➡️
